A practice in fibre.

Dana Sitar is a self-taught fibre artist based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Working with felt, wool, silk, vintage textiles and reclaimed material, she creates expressive wearable pieces shaped by colour, texture and experimentation.

In 2011, her work When I Do Not Follow The Rules received both Best Fiber and the Design Committee’s Award at the Sooke Fine Arts Show. In 2018, her work and creative process were featured in Belle Armoire magazine in “Perfectly Imperfect.”

Dana is also listed as an artist with Fibres & Beyond, a Vancouver Island fibre-arts group. Her Etsy shop is known as Kuschis.
